This seaside community knows how to celebrate on the Fourth of July.

The festivities start with a pancake breakfast that is followed by the parade, a parking lot festival, concerts, barbecues and fireworks. And in case that’s not enough to keep you occupied, Point Roberts is surrounded by fabulous beaches and parks.

8:00am to 11:00am: Pancake Breakfast
Pancake Breakfast at the Community Center, which is also a fundraiser for Point Roberts Emergency Prepardness. In addition to pancakes, the menu includes scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy.

11:00am: Flag Raising Ceremony
Flag Raising Ceremony at the Community Center, hosted by Point Roberts Park and Recreation. Address: 1437 Gulf Road

12:00pm: Parade
This is the event of the summer—where the heart and humour of Point Roberts shine the brightest! From the Fire Department to small businesses, neighbourhood crews to quirky clubs, everyone rolls out in style along Gulf Road. Expect floats of all kinds—flatbeds, ride-on mowers, horses, vintage cars, and more—decked out in red, white, and pure community spirit. This year’s theme: Celebrating Community
The parade cruises from Kiniski’s Reef (Marine Drive) to the UPS Store (Tyee Drive)—so bring your chairs, your cheers, and your Point Bob pride!

1:00pm to 3:00pm: Post Parade Celebration
At the International Marketplace (grocery store parking lot), music provided by Strings & Things Music Festival (preview performances), fire trucks, water activities, Ollie Otter Bakery food bank fundraiser, face painting and crafts.
