Travelling to Point Roberts
There are the three main ways you can access Point Roberts - car, boat or plane. Point Roberts is a border-community and if you are arriving from Canada, you will have to clear customs.
To reach Point Roberts by land from the United States, travelers must drive through Canada. There is a single border crossing called the Point Roberts - Boundary Bay Border Crossing, which connects Point Roberts to the Canadian mainland. This is the only land route to Point Roberts. This means that travellers from mainland Washington must go through customs and immigration procedures twice: once when entering Canada (Tsawwassen) and again when re-entering the United States (Point Roberts).
The border crossing operates like any other land border crossing between the United States and Canada. Travellers are required to present appropriate travel documents, such as a valid passport or Nexus.

By Car
Access to Point Roberts is through the south end of Tsawwassen, BC. Here you will find the Point Roberts - Boundary Bay Border Crossing. It’s about a 45 to 60 minute drive from Vancouver, 25 minutes from the YVR airpot or a quick 10-minutes from the BC Ferries Tsawwasen terminal.

By Boat
If you have your own boat, access into Point Roberts is through the Point Roberts Marina, which also has a customs dock. Moorage can be booked through the Marina’s office. There are currently no ferry services to Point Roberts.

By Plane
The Point Roberts Airpark is a single runway airport. This airport, along with the marina, provide the only access to the rest of Washington state without first having to pass through BC. You can charter a flight via San Juan Air.
